Settings is the single settings page in the Studio desktop app. It combines Profile controls, agent context, local runtime controls, and scheduled run visibility.

Profile

The Profile section controls how the app refers to you and when agents need approval.

Name

The Name field updates the name Studio uses when referring to you.

Autonomy

The Autonomy control decides the level of autonomy for your agents.

Require approval for new agents

When enabled, any agent-created request for a new agent waits for user approval before the new agent is created.

Studio

Context and identifiers for your agents.

Context

Plain-language context for agents. Use it for goals, constraints, and priorities that agents should know when operating.

Short code

The short code is used in issue IDs and Studio URLs. For example, a short code of ABC produces issue IDs like ABC-1 and ABC-2.
Changing the short code after issues have been created does not update existing identifiers. Existing issues keep the old code. New issues and Studio URLs use the new one. This can create inconsistency in logs and comments that reference issue IDs, so change the short code only before significant work has started.

Runtime

In the macOS desktop app, Settings includes local runtime controls: The page also displays the current data path and logs path.
The reset action permanently deletes local data including the database, agent history, and run logs. There is no undo. Use Export Backup before using it if there is any data worth preserving.

Runs

The Runs section shows scheduled agent runs. It lists agents with scheduling configured and shows whether their scheduler is active, their role, interval, last run time, and a link to the agent detail page.
