- macOS 14 or later
- Apple Silicon (M1 or later)
Install the app
- Download the latest
.dmgfrom the website. - Open the disk image.
- Drag Studio into your Applications folder.
- Open Studio from Applications or Launchpad.
If macOS blocks the app
macOS may show a warning the first time you open a downloaded app.- Open System Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down and click Open Anyway next to the Studio entry.
- Reopen Studio.
What the app installs locally
The desktop app stores local data in the macOS application data directory for Studio. The exact path is shown in Settings under Runtime. The folders you will use most often:
These paths are also accessible from Settings inside the app using Open Logs and Open Data.
Updating the app
Download the new.dmg from the website, drag the updated app into Applications, and reopen. Local data is preserved across updates.
