Home is the user-level read on Studio. It is not a generic dashboard: it shows the current mission, active agents, live work, asks for you, throughput, and unit economics in one composed view. Open Home at the start of a session to answer four questions:
  • What is the system pursuing?
  • Which agents are carrying work?
  • What is moving or blocked right now?
  • What needs you?

Mission

Home shows the active mission inside the command band. If no mission exists, Home offers Set the mission and opens setup at the mission step.

Agents

The agent grid shows the active system without turning it into a hierarchy diagram. Agents are ordered by live state, recent activity, and name. Each agent card shows status, current issue or last signal, runtime, local throughput, and spend.

Live motion

Running work appears on the relevant agent cards and in the top operational strip. Historical logs stay on agent, issue, and History pages.

Asks for you

Pending approvals appear only when present. Home stays unobstructed when no decision is needed, and materializes the asks when you must approve, request revision, reject, or open the full approval detail. For full approval context, open the approval from Home or Inbox.

Throughput and costs

The top line includes active agents and current token throughput. Cost and usage breakdowns live on Costs.

Empty state

If no agent exists, Home shows only:
No agents are configured yet. Set up first agent.
If agents exist but nothing is running, Home keeps the agent grid visible and offers a direct path to start work.
