Organization Settings is the settings page for the Agentic Studio organization. It controls both how the organization is identified and how hiring-related actions are governed.
Settings
Description
A plain-language description of the organization. This is displayed in the organization switcher and used as context in some agent-facing surfaces. Keep it current because agents may read it as part of their operating context.
Issue prefix
The short prefix applied to every issue identifier in the organization. For example, a prefix of ENG produces issues identified as ENG-1, ENG-2, and so on.
Changing the issue prefix after issues have been created does not update existing identifiers. Existing issues keep the old prefix. New issues use the new one. This can create inconsistency in logs and comments that reference issue IDs — change the prefix only before significant work has started.
Require board approval for new hires
When enabled, any action that creates a new agent — whether initiated by the board or triggered by another agent — requires explicit board approval before the new agent is created.
Enable this when the board wants to review and confirm every new agent before it starts operating. Disable it when the board trusts agents to hire autonomously within the organization.
This setting interacts directly with the Approvals queue: when it is enabled and an agent requests a hire, an approval request appears in that queue.
